Marketing Manager

About the Role

We’re seeking a strategic and creative Marketing Manager to join our growing team, reporting to the Marketing Director. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of mission-driven marketing and digital innovation—especially someone who’s passionate about LGBTQIA+ advocacy, community storytelling, and creating measurable impact.

As Marketing Manager, you’ll take the lead on executing and optimizing our marketing initiatives, growing our digital presence, and fostering community engagement. You’ll be a key player in shaping how our brand shows up in the world and building meaningful connections across platforms and partnerships.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (social, email, web, events)
  • Own and grow our social media presence across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
  • Develop and manage editorial calendars, newsletters, and blog content
  • Track marketing KPIs, analyze data, and provide strategic insights and optimizations
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, creatives, writers, and community partners
  • Support external partnerships, virtual and in-person events, and brand activations
  • Stay informed on LGBTQIA+ trends, digital marketing strategies, and platform updates

You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

  • Have 5–7 years of experience in marketing, brand, or communications roles
  • Are fluent in social media strategy and analytics tools (Meta, Mailchimp, Canva, Google Analytics)
  • Are a strong writer and visual storyteller with excellent project management skills
  • Thrive in fast-paced, remote work environments and are highly self-motivated
  • Care deeply about equity, inclusion, and uplifting LGBTQIA+ communities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of marketing/brand experience (nonprofit or advocacy experience a plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
